Welcome to
the Features Unlimited
World
Wide Web Site!
Features Unlimited was
launched in 1972 by Glen Banner and Charla Leibenguth Banner as a marketing company for
freelance writing and photography. During the 1970s and into the early 80s, the company
expanded to produce custom brochures, booklets, and catalogues, as well as provide public
relations and advertising design for its clients. The firm specialized in work with open
wheel auto racing. Its subsidiary, Tim-Mel Publications, offered full publishing services
for booklets, corporate histories, and other types of print media.
By the mid-1980s, Features Unlimited was engaged in the
production of some 11 monthly and quarterly newsletters in the fields of building trades,
associations, construction, manufacturing, and medicine. The company also began providing
script writing services and direction for corporate and industrial video productions.
The 1980s also saw the launching of the firm's desktop
publishing efforts, which provide consulting and design of electronic publishing systems
as well as training in the fields of operating system software, word processing, desktop
publishing, graphics, and presentations.
By the end of the 1990s, Features Unlimited had
extended its ventures into multimedia productions and World Wide Web page design. On into
this new millennium, Features Unlimited vows to keep on the cutting edge of visual design.
